Magritte’s “La Voie des Aires” evoked for me a heavy, oppressive atmosphere within a chaotic environment. The bells in Magritte’s work counterbalance this chaos with a kind of weighty lightness. The sound design and animation of the scene aim to recreate these sensations.

Magritte’s unmasked universe evoked a deep sense of anxiety in me, even within a calm environment. The sky, beautiful and reassuring at first, suddenly fractures before our eyes, shattering the tranquility and giving way to anxiety.
