Barbecue kit

The collaboration with the company started when the owner contacted us with the aim of improving his product.

His product was a barbecue that would be in kit for an easy transportation for users

The main problem was that his basic device was too bulky and had too many individual parts. So we thought of a new way to offer a barbecue kit.

Our vision

Our aim was to have a barbecue that was easy to use and assemble. We wanted to keep the "kit" aspect and make it easy to assemble and disassemble the device.
If we wanted to have a product that was easy to assemble, we also had to take into account the number of parts of which it would be composed. We have studied the project in order to propose the least parts for the good assembly of the barbecue.
So we have parts with a double use like the legs of the barbecue which allow to stabilize the object as well as to make a fire tray.
Fewer parts also means less material used and therefore money saved. All parts were designed according to the dimensions of the steel plates on which they were to be cut.
